Niklas has the last couple of years starting to turn his  attention to different projects featuring new expressions and new ways of presenting Classical Music. In 2004 he did together with Clarinet-player Martin Fröst and Mezzo Malena Ernman a Classical Show called ” No Strings Attached” which was broadcasted by Swedish Television. A mix of Contemporary Music, Virtuoso elements Choreography, lighteffects and unusal arrangements made this concert a huge success, both with the audience and critics.
Niklas was deeply involved in the many music and scenic surprices and did together with Martin all the successful arrangements for the illastrious trio. After this came the concept BACH which includes music  of Bach and Contemporary Music together with Martin Fröst and the composer Fredrik Högberg. Here Niklas participated as pianist, composer and arranger and BACH have been performed twice with outstanding success in Norway. At the Festival in Bergen and Trondheim.

Sorin Albu. 8 tracks(videos) composed and
performed by Niklas using all kinds of keyboard instruments. Also
the lyrics has been written by him. Collaborators on the album
belongs to the cream of the Swedish jazz scene and the singers are
all well known in Sweden. Here are to mention a few: Lelo
