Niklas Sivelöv often creates a sensation for his intense and
fiery performances. It occurred in New York City, when he performed
with Mark Peskanov and Sophie Shao. The New York Times pointed out
the extraordinary nature of the concert, recommending it to the
public. The Times also praised his performance of Beethoven’s
Trio in E-Flat and his own composition, New York Trio
by saying "an energetic finale catching something of the city’s
vibrancy in themes that circled through the ensemble, with
transformations accruing as each instrument took them
up." Mr. Sivelöv
has performed all over the world and given master classes in Spain,
Finland, Portugal, Great Britain and the United States. In 1994 he
received the Swedish Golden Apple award and the following year was
chosen as an Artist in Residence with the Swedish State Broadcasting
Company. Later came Prestigious Prizes in International Piano
Competitions in Geneva and Cincinnati. In 2007 he was Artist in
Residence at Mogens Dahl Institute of Music, Choir and Conducting in
